Our comprehensive orthopedic program, offered at our Doctors Regional and Bay Area hospitals, focuses not only on diagnosing and treating orthopedic conditions but also on providing education to help our patients take a more active role in their care.

Our team of physicians, surgeons, orthopedic specialists, nurses and staff treat a range of injuries and disorders of the musculoskeletal system. Each care team member is uniquely skilled and will provide each patient with personalized, patient-centered care.

We specialize in providing innovative surgical and nonsurgical procedures for the knee, shoulder, spine and hip, joint replacement and trauma surgery for orthopedic injuries.

Our total knee and hip replacement programs are certified by The Joint Commission. This certification demonstrates our strong commitment to providing safe, high-quality health care and to continually working to improve the way we deliver care. Our orthopedic program was the first in the Coastal Bend region to earn certification for disease-specific care for total knee and hip replacement surgeries.

Corpus Christi orthopedic services

After an injury, surgery or the onset of a musculoskeletal condition, getting back on your feet may be harder than before. Our team is here to work with you to determine which treatment is best for your condition and to ensure you have the highest level of independence and physical function.

Our orthopedic surgeons provide both surgical and nonsurgical options. Whenever possible, we use conservative treatments that require less recovery time than surgery. However, if nonsurgical treatments have not relieved your symptoms, surgery may be the only option to restore function and reduce pain.

Our orthopedic surgeons can perform a wide range of procedures, including:

  • Advanced knee replacement using robotic-assisted surgery
  • Arthroscopic knee surgery
  • Back surgery
  • Carpal tunnel release
  • Hand and upper extremity surgery
  • Orthopedic surgery after trauma
  • Shoulder surgery
  • Total hip and total knee replacement surgery
