PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program
The PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program is designed to develop and prepare highly trained clinicians, well-equipped to pursue pharmacy practice as generalists. A solid and excellent clinical and pharmacy operations foundation is developed through robust clinical experiences in areas such as cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, infectious disease, antimicrobial stewardship, psychiatry, women's health, neonatology, orthopedics, pulmonary, and critical care. These patient-centered, clinical, dynamic leadership, informatics, and management rotations are offered throughout our facilities.
This American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) residency program is currently in pre-candidate status. We expect to enroll our first class of residents, July 1, 2016, and anticipate an ASHP accreditation survey in the spring of 2017.
