The Graduate Medical Education Residency and Fellowship Programs accepts applications only through the Electronic Residency Application Services (ERAS) of the Association of American Medical Colleges.  Application materials should include:

ERAS common application form with personal statement
Dean’s letter
Medical school transcripts
Three letters of recommendation
COMLEX and/or USMLE scores

While many factors are considered when selecting residency applicants, the general guidelines below should help you chose if our program is the right fit for you. Typical applicant:

  • Graduated from an accredited medical school within the last 2 years
  • Has not had more than a total of 2 failures on all USMLE or COMLEX exams
  • Has a score around 500 or better on COMLEX and around 220 on USMLE
  • Intends to enter the program as a PGY I
  • Does not require Visa sponsorship

 Graduate Medical Education Internal Medicine Timeline:

  • September 15 ERAS opens for programs
  • October – December
  • March 15 – Match Day!
