CCMC receives national recognition for behavioral health services at Bayview
Corpus Christi Medical Center's (CCMC) efforts to deliver the best patient experience for behavioral health patients were acknowledged with a prestigious award from Press Ganey, a global leader in healthcare experience solutions and services.
CCMC's Bayview campus has been named a 2023 Human Experience Press Ganey (HX) Guardian of Excellence Award® winner. This award is part of Press Ganey's annual ranking of the country's top hospitals and health systems, according to performance in inpatient behavioral health patient experience.

The Press Ganey (HX) Guardian of Excellence Award® recognizes those hospitals reaching the 95th percentile in patient feedback surveys for each reporting period during the award year. The survey captures patient responses regarding communication, wait times, respect and courtesy, patient privacy, and pain control.

Established in 2011, CCMC Bayview, a 68-bed behavioral health facility, is the largest mental health facility in South Texas, providing treatment for adolescents, adults, and seniors. Inpatient and outpatient services are available and include treatment for adult substance abuse.
